Suggest Team
Anyone can suggest and form a team to ride for a project, a cause, or a country. There is no limit. Teams are supposed to add fun, purpose, and a sense of community. They also give organizations and groups a way of representing themselves.
Once formed, you can ride together in real-time by scheduling regular rides in your community or you can form a virtual team that makes you part of a virtual team. Each team can have a unique name and each team decides to ride for a project, cause, or country. Just suggest a team to us, think of a name, and let us know if your group would be riding for a project, a cause, or a country.
Note to all the pastors, priests, Christian workers out there: Since we are creating resources that support mental health efforts centered around churches locally and globally, we suggest that churches and Christian workers form their own teams around a project, a cause, or a country. That way your church or organization can show their spirit and actively participate in the development of mental health resources and services. Of course, the same goes for business teams. If you want your employees to ride for a project, a cause, or a country, please join in. The possibilities for representation and riding as a group are almost endless! Examples
Project Teams: Your church can gather riders to ride for a specific local mental health project. For example, your church wants to open a low-cost mental health clinic in a neighborhood that has very little mental health access. Your team can ride to raise funds for that project.
Cause Teams: If you want to do something about teen suicide, you can gather a team behind a cause and specifically ride to raise funds in order to do something about teen suicide prevention efforts.
Country Teams: Team Kenya, Vietnam, Switzerland, Ukraine. Riders in this team ride for to support the development of mental health resources and infrastructures in their chosen country. You can give your team a special name while riding for a specific country.
